To better serve and protect both patients and health care workers during the COVID-19 outbreak, The MetroHealth System is announcing the following changes:

  • Masks Required
    • To continue protecting us all, everyone entering any MetroHealth location will be required to wear a mask that covers their mouth and nose. If you do not have one, one will be provided to you at our entrances. This new rule begins Monday, April 20, 2020, and is one more way we can continue to provide our best care to you and to keep our entire community safe from the coronavirus. Thank you for helping us all stay well.  
  • Location Closures
    • Health Care Centers: Gordon Square (LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland), Medina, and Rocky River
    • Discount Drug Mart Sites: Independence, North Royalton and Olmsted Falls
  • Appointments
    • Do you have symptoms of COVID? Think you may be sick? Call our hotline 440-59-COVID (440-592-6843).
    • If you need immediate care for non-COVID-19/respiratory issues, we stand ready to serve you. Whether it’s for an urgent issue, a medication refill or other health concern, please call 216-778-5500, and choose option #3 to be connected to a health care provider who can triage your care needs.
    • We are converting existing appointments to telehealth visits. Instead of coming in person to one of our facilities for a visit, you will receive a phone call from one of our caregivers around the time of your appointment. Online self-scheduling is currently unavailable.
  • Pharmacies & Prescriptions
    • We are delivering prescriptions as a complimentary service. This allows patients to avoid crowds in accordance with the current guidance from the state of Ohio and Centers for Disease Control. When a physician writes a prescription for you, it will be filled and promptly delivered to your doorstep.
