Institute for H.O.P.E. to bring services, programs to W. 25th Street to create opportunities and make life easier

Thousands of people will have access to fresh food, job training classes and other resources when MetroHealth launches its new Institute for H.O.P.E. (Health, Opportunity, Partnership and Empowerment). Based on MetroHealth’s main campus, the Institute for H.O.P.E. will function as a neighborhood hub, bringing together programs and resources, creating opportunities for everyone in the community to have a chance at a better future. MetroHealth System employees to receive up to $20,000 to buy a home near West 25th Street main campus 

Employees of The MetroHealth System will receive up to $20,000 if they choose to buy a house near the West 25th Street main campus. And employees already living in nearby neighborhoods will receive $8,500 to upgrade their current homes. Read more in our Newsroom...

The MetroHealth System Announces More Than 250 New Apartments, $60 Million Investment for West 25th Street

Three new buildings that will house 250 apartments and community support programs such as fresh food offerings, child care and job training services will be built on or near MetroHealth’s main campus. The redevelopment plans – estimated at more than $60 million – are designed to spur economic growth, provide new housing opportunities for current residents and to attract new residents to a revitalized West 25th Street. MetroHealth enables college students to see doctors via phone or video with no co-pay

Thousands of college students in four states will soon have access to MetroHealth’s Doc2Go telemedicine service, which connects patients with 24/7 urgent care via the convenience of phone or video visits. Starting July 1, students at participating colleges in Ohio, Kentucky, Texas and Florida will be eligible to enroll in the new coverage program made available by MetroHealth and its partners Campus Unity Benefits and Hawaii Mainland Administrators. Lincoln West Graduates MetroHealth

Lincoln-West School of Science and Health graduates first class

Three years ago, MetroHealth and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District opened the Lincoln-West School of Science & Health, the first high school in the nation located inside a hospital.
