First Preemie Day At MetroHealth Proves Successful
MetroHealth welcomed numerous graduates of its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
back to its main campus Saturday. The children and their families gathered at Rammelkamp Atrium to celebrate their good health and engage in a fun-filled afternoon. Food was served, and entertainment included a professional storyteller, crafts and family portraits.
In addition to all the fun activities, there were also tables with information and resources for parents including Pediatrics
, Child Life
, MetroHealth's Daddy Boot Camp
, Pediatric Occupational and Physical Therapy, MyChart
, Pediatric Dentistry
, Pediatric and Adolescent Psychology, March of Dimes
, Graham's Foundation
and the Cuyahoga County Public Library
"We try to keep in touch over the years as much as possible," Connie Eggleston
told Fox 8 Cleveland
, which covered the event. "We have kids as old as 16 and as young as four months that are here today."
Organizers hope to repeat the event on an annual basis.
