125K In Donations Helps Purchase Life Flight Ground ICU
Backed by donations totaling $125,000, MetroHealth will purchase a new Metro Life Flight Ground Medical Intensive Care Unit.
The ground unit transports critically ill and injured patients when Life Flight aircraft can't be dispatched, particularly important during a winter full of heavy snowstorms. It will be outfitted with a ventilator, portable ultrasound machine, IV pumps and other equipment that allow for faster treatment.
