What You Need to Know and How MetroHealth Can Assist
Dear Valued Patient,
As a patient of The MetroHealth System we want you to know that under the new Affordable Care Act, you and your family may be able to get health insurance through the Health Insurance Market Place, also known as HealthCare Exchanges, or through Ohio’s Expanded Medicaid Program.
The Health Insurance Market Place or Exchanges are organizations set up to provide standardized health plans to purchase. You may be eligible to receive federal subsidies to assist with the premiums.
Ohio is expanding its Medicaid Program to include low-income adults without children and additionally, families who previously may not have qualified.
