About the MetroHealth Emergency Department

The MetroHealth Emergency Department includes over 80 treatment spaces with a 14-bed Clinical Decision Unit for patients requiring observation; 6 trauma suites; and a Rapid Medical Exam area. The Emergency Department features state-of-the-art medical equipment, including digital X-ray, CT and bedside ultrasound capabilities, along with a system-wide integrated Electronic Health Record.
