About the MetroHealth Brooklyn Health Center
Fitting health care into your busy life can be challenging. At the MetroHealth Brooklyn Health Center, we go out of our way to ensure you and your family receive personalized medical attention. We treat our newborn to senior adult patients with a healing touch and listen to their special needs. We also offer your family more health care choices, so when you need to make a decision, it is the best choice possible, but what's more important is the way we treat you — as a person, not just a patient.
MetroHealth Brooklyn Health Center is supported by MetroHealth's full scope of services to provide you and your family with the best health care available. The MetroHealth Brooklyn Health Center is affiliated with MetroHealth Medical Center, a tertiary care, academic facility which provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services and subspecialty referral care. Should the need for these services arise, your health care provider can arrange for them at MetroHealth Medical Center.
Our primary medical specialties include:
- Internal Medicine — comprehensive care for adults
- Internal Medicine/Pediatrics — complete care for adults and children
- Pediatrics — complete care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents
As part of our spectrum of care, some of our physicians are trained in both internal medicine and pediatrics, making them uniquely qualified to care for every family member — from newborns to geriatrics and every age in between. Our physicians provide care for acute and chronic complex medical problems.
In addition to our primary medical specialties, we also offer the following services:
- Obstetrics/Gynecology — comprehensive care for adolescent girls and women of all ages
- Social work
For our senior adult patients, we work closely with the MetroHealth Advantage Seniors program and Senior Citizens Resources as additional community resources for medical and social needs.
A Center for the Community
Each day, the MetroHealth Brooklyn Health Center fulfills its mission to maintain and improve the health of all Cuyahoga County residents. Our health care providers have listened closely to your medical and personal needs to better know you, your family, and your community.
"If I need a same-day appointment for myself or my children, the MetroHealth Brooklyn staff always tries to fit us in. I like going to a health care center where the staff is friendly and tries to help you out."
