We use our ears to help us hear speech, and to hear the sounds of the environment. Conditions that impair ear function can be as minor as wax buildup or as serious as traumatic deafness. MetroHealth ENT-head and neck physicians are extensively trained at evaluating and treating medical problems related to the ear. MetroHealth audiologists are trained in the identification and rehabilitation of hearing disorders where medicine can not fix the problem.
