Tour - Specialty Services Pavilion

The Dermatology Clinic is located inside The MetroHealth System Specialty Services Pavilion located on Scranton Avenue, across the street from the Towers inpatient building and the Charles H. Rammelkamp Center for Education and Research.

Parking is available in a garage right under the Pavilion. The entrance to that garage is located just to the left (south) of the photograph. An elevator will take you to the second floor right in front of the Dermatology Clinic.

The Dermatology Clinic is straight ahead from the elevators on the second floor of the Specialty Services Pavilion.

Just to its left is the Otolaryngology (Eye, Ears, Nose and Throat) Clinic.

To the right are the Subspecialty Clinics of the Department of Internal Medicine: Allergy, Arthritis, Cardiology, Diabetes, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology (GI), Hypertension, Lupus, Pulmonary, Rheumatology, and Renal.

We request that you tell our receptionists when you arrive so that they can register you and let your doctor know that you are here.

Enjoy the original art on the wall, created by local artists. We will try to make you wait as short as possible.

MetroHealth is developing a system-wide computerized medical database and medical record system that will allow your physician, no matter which facility you see him or her, to have access to all the important medical information he or she needs to care for you. This system uses state-of-the-art security to make sure that the medical information about you remains private.

Tour - Dermatology Examination Room

The examination rooms in the Dermatology Clinic are large and state- of-the-art, with color corrected lighting and electrosurgical equipment in every room. The window is actually a one-way mirror, which allows us to see out but no one can see in.

In addition to the suite of thirteen examination rooms, there is a surgical suite with two well-equiped outpatient operating rooms. Our Silktouch cosmetic laser is located in one of these operating rooms.

The MetroHealth Department of Dermatology has two, state-of-the-art surgical suites.

Marlene Willen, M.D., provides the specialized surgery for skin cancer known as Mohs Surgery, as well as cosmetic and laser surgery.
