Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine
(CWRU), founded in 1843, has a long tradition of excellence
and innovation in medical education, research, and patient care. MetroHealth
Medical Center is one of the principal teaching hospitals for the School of
Medicine. All members of the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics at
MetroHealth hold full-time faculty appointments at the School of Medicine, and
have major teaching responsibilities throughout the medical school curriculum.
Medical students from CWRU are integral members of the health care team at
MetroHealth, and residents play a key role both as educators and role
models.
All MetroHealth Medical Center residency and fellowship
programs are affiliated with Case Western Reserve University. As
