Preparation |

Spread fig butter on prepared toasted pizza crust or flat bread. Top with 1-2 tbsp. of caramelized onions, and 1 – 2 tbsp. goat cheese. Place on cooking sheet in oven at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and fig butter is bubbling. Top with coarsely chopped basil leaves. Serve and enjoy.

Asparagus

Preparation Wash and chop asparagus and cut into 1” sections. Place 1 tbsp. olive oil in pan on medium high, add 1 chopped or thinly sliced garlic clove. Toss asparagus in oil and garlic until fork tender. Add ¼ cup toasted almonds. |

Preparation Over medium low heat add 3 chocolate squares and ½ cup light cream and stir until smooth. Add sugar, butter and salt until dissolved. Stir frequently.
Once all ingredients are well mixed and smooth, add vanilla and remove from heat. Serve immediately or place in fondue pot on warm/low setting.
Serve with fresh fruits such as bananas, strawberries, grapes, pound cake. Enjoy!
