Cancer Care Center Patient Navigator Program

Patient navigators are specially trained to provide extra support patients and family members may need through this challenging time. They help patients work through the health care system while providing ease of access to essential resources.

The navigators work closely with patients, their medical team and social workers to help create an organized and less stressful environment for everyone.

They are a wonderful resource to assist with a variety of issues from assisting with transportation, offering appointment reminder calls, reminding patients of resources available to them and much more.

Additional Resources

In addition to patient navigation, our staff can connect you to a variety of resources throughout the cancer treatment process and beyond:

  • Specialized nursing care
  • Social workers
  • Nutritionists
  • Chemotherapy class (for patients and families)
  • Pastoral care
  • Support groups
  • Psychiatric support
  • Alternative healing therapies, such as Reiki therapy
  • Transportation
