2011 highlights include:

• Cuyahoga County Executive Edward FitzGerald and the Cuyahoga County Council approved a county subsidy of $36 million a year through 2013.
• MetroHealth was awarded more than $35 million for research.
• MetroHealth collected more than $10.8 million in incentive payments for the meaningful use of electronic medical records.
• MetroHealth Foundation had its most successful year, raising $10.8 million, a 12.5% increase from 2010.
• MetroHealth streamlined operations and enhanced services of environmental, food and laundry operations, reducing costs by $1.8 million.
