MetroHealth Simulation Center
Meet the Simulation Center Manager
We are pleased to welcome Jackelyn Csank as the new manager of the MetroHealth Simulation Center. Mrs. Csank has extensive experience in educational program design and implementation through her work as a Paramedic, Emergency Management Program Officer, and Investigator.
Mrs. Csank graduated from Cleveland State University with a B.S. in Public Safety Management in 2005. She is a FEMA-Certified Master Exercise Practitioner with experience designing, implementing and supporting a regional Training and Exercise Program. While employed as an Emergency Management Program Officer at Cuyahoga County Emergency Management, Jackelyn was active in growing the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program from a few communities to include 50+ communities and 500+ volunteers.
Mrs. Csank provided and coordinated over 100 training courses for first-responders as Coordinator for Cuyahoga County Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program. Her experience includes coordinating county-wide simulated disaster relief exercises, developing realistic mock disaster scenarios, serving as a lead facilitator and designer for multiple drills, table-tops, functional and full-scale exercises throughout the county.
She will be a tremendous asset to the growing MetroHealth Simulation Center as we build our programs to serve our providers and our patients.
