Cleveland Metro Life Flight utilizes two medically configured Lear jets for travel within North America and the larger Hawker 800 Jet for transcontinental travel giving the program world-wide transport capability. Each aircraft provides the same high standard of 24-hour critical care transport and air medical service to our patients as our rotor wing and ground units do. The medical equipment and team can be further reconfigured for complex cardiac missions including the latest technology in intra-aortic balloon pumps, ventricular assist and heart bypass devices. Neonate transports can be completed using a specialized isolette configured for air transport. Specialized medical and nursing crews are configured individually for the patient's optimal support. We have consistently met and exceeded the standards required by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) for fixed wing transport.
