The Children's Hospital at MetroHealth Medical Center
Comprehensive Care Pediatrics
The Comprehensive Care Program The Comprehensive Care Program provides a medical home to infants, children
and adults with special health care needs. The program provides primary
pediatric and internal medicine care, as well as specialty care directed to
patients with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The physicians work in a team
with dedicated psychologists, nurses, social workers, and nutritionists. The
program provides continuity of care in both the inpatient and outpatient
settings. The team works closely with outside organizations such as the County
Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Delay, the Visiting Nurse
Association, and the Hospice of the Western Reserve. The program collaborates
with all of the medical and surgical subspecialists at MetroHealth Medical
Center to coordinate the extensive care needed by our patients.
