At MetroHealth, Reiki has been useful in helping relieve pain in patients with cancer, fibromyalgia, and other medical problems. Pain is rated as "0" (no pain) to "10" (unbearable pain). 

Table 1 shows the average pain scores of patients before and after receiving a Reiki treatment in the Hands to Heart Reiki Clinic at MetroHealth.

Table 2 shows the average stress scores of patients before and after receiving Reiki treatment. Stress is rated as "0" (no stress) to "10" (unbearable stress).
