Obstetrics and Gynecology
Sibling Class
Is there a little one in your family who is curious about the "big fuss" the grown-ups are making about the new baby?
This one time class helps your children, ages 3-8, understand the important role they will play in your family when their newborn brother or sister is born. Classes include information on easing your child’s adjustment to life with a new baby.
Children will:
- Learn how to gently hold and safely interact with a baby.
- View a short movie about birth.
- Tour the postpartum unit to help ease any worries about being away from you.
The sibling(s) need to complete only one class. All classes are offered on Saturdays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
