Applications are accepted only through ERAS, the Electronic Residency Application Service (E.R.A.S., on the web at http://www.aamc.org/eras/).  Applications are accepted beginning September 1 through December 23 for a residency position that begins the following year.

We require a minimum of three letters of recommendation.  We expect at least one of those letters to be from a physiatrist.  Step 1 & 2 of the USMLE or COMLEX are required.

A complete application includes: the ERAS application, CV, personal statement, three (3) letters of recommendation, Dean's letter, medical school transcripts, ECFMG, and USMLE or COMLEX Step 1&2 scores.

We interview on Mondays and Fridays beginning mid October and ending mid January.  Interviews are by invitation only.  Invitations are sent out via e-mail.

The interview day begins with an orientation discussion with our program coordinator and chief resident, followed by a tour of MetroHealth, interviews with the PD and selected faculty, and lunch with our residents.  The interview day ends by mid afternoon.
