MetroHealth's palliative medicine specialists are committed to improving the care of the chronically ill or dying. Our goals are to help patients feel the best they can and maximize their quality of life, as well assist and support families and the teams who are caring for them.

• Helping healthcare teams provide care that complies with patients' wishes and minimizes suffering

• Educating care providers, patients, and families about treatment choices and end-of-life care
