Gregory Nemunaitis, MD

Dr. Nemunaitis is a board certified physiatrist with subspecialty certification in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. He has served as Director of SCI Rehabilitation at the MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio since 2002 and Principal Investigator of the systems’ SCI Model System Program until 2011. He is a Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine and Program Director of the ACGME-accredited Spinal Cord Injury Medicine Fellowship at the CWRU/MetroHealth Program. He has received numerous awards recognizing his commitment to his patients and to the education of his students. His research interests focus on SCI health and wellness, assistive technology, and functional electrical stimulation (FES).
