Orthopaedics
Research
Research in the Department of Orthopaedics includes activities ranging from laboratory work to clinical review to prospective studies. Many of the current studies concern trauma, with goals of reducing complications and costs and improving functional outcomes after injury. We participate in some multicenter projects. We also collaborate with engineers at Case to study biomechanical properties of implants for fracture treatment.
