Hospital Medicine Faculty

Catherine Curley, MD, MS

Dr. Curley is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine for both her MD and Masters of Science in Health Services Research.

She has a special interest in Tuberculosis and is the Associate Director of the Cuyahoga County Tuberculosis Program.

She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Michael McFarlane, MD

Dr. Michael McFarlane earned his medical degree in 1978 at the University of Kansas. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. McFarlane is a Professor of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is the Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at MetroHealth Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Society Memberships: Society of General Internal Medicine, American College of Physicians

Jeff Becker, MD

Dr. Jeff Becker graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine with his Medical Degree in 1996. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine here at MetroHealth Medical Center. 

Dr. Becker is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also the Associate Director of Residency Programs in Internal Medicine.

Johnbuck Creamer, MD

Dr. Creamer graduated from Case Western Reserve University School on Medicine in 2006, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center.

Dr. Creamer is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

His interests include patient/provider communication and medical education.  He is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine.

Sajat Agarwal, MD

Dr. Sajat Agarwal earned his medical degree from the University of Delhi, India in 2002.  After graduation he trained for three years in England and earned the Membership of Royal College of Physicians (UK).  He did his residency training at MetroHealth Medical Center and graduated in 2009

Dr. Agarwal is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School on Medicine and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

He is involved in efforts to improve follow-up after discharged from the hospital.  He has a special interest in Medical Education.

Sandra Glagola, DO

Dr. Glagola graduated from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005.  She completed her internship as well as Internal Medicine residency here at MetroHealth Medical Center.

She is presently Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.  Her specific interests include medical education and quality improvement initiatives, such as improving the Code Blue experience and improving adult inpatient VTE prophylaxis.

Society Memberships include:  American College of Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and Society of Hospital Medicine.
