MHMC is a 746-bed trauma center providing tertiary care and general hospital services to the Cleveland metropolitan area. The medical center is committed to providing excellence in care with a highly qualified, interdisciplinary, hospital-based medical staff.

The Department of Radiology is an active, expanding department, providing general and specialized services using state-of-the-art equipment, including four Spiral CT scanners, several high resolution color Doppler ultrasound scanners, and two high-field MRI scanners. All Radiology physicians hold a faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University School of medicine. To support one-on-one teaching by the faculty, students also have access to the department library with text, CD-ROMs, and journals specific to radiology as well lectures by the residents tailored to medical student needs.
