Infectious Disease Training & Education

Fellowship training in Infectious Diseases at MetroHealth is offered in partnership with University Hospitals of Cleveland and the Cleveland Wade Park Louis Stokes Veterans Administration Hospital (www.cwru-id.org). In addition to broad clinical exposure, the fellowship offers diverse research and training opportunities.

Infectious diseases fellows are eligible to apply for full tuition support towards a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics through Case School of Medicine. MetroHealth is pleased to support one candidate every two years; infectious diseases fellows may apply during their first year of fellowship. Additional, broad opportunities for clinical and laboratory-based research are available through the fellowship (www.cwru-id.org).
