The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at MetroHealth Medical Center is a Level III unit — the most distinguished of its kind, and offers a proven record of excellence in caring for the most critically ill infants.
We believe that treating your baby is truly a team effort. Our state-of-the-art NICU is staffed by expert physicians, registered nurses, neonatal nurse practitioners, nutrition specialists, and other healthcare professionals who are dedicated to improving the health your baby. Parents are also an important part of the team. We look forward to working with you during your infant’s stay and encourage you to visit frequently. When you can’t be here, feel free to call and check on your baby’s condition.
