The NICU is made up of nine separate nurseries. Each nursery can accommodate six patient beds (as shown), which are equipped with state-of-the-art monitors, pumps and ventilators.

The NICU  is a Level III (highest level) intensive care unit that accepts neonatal transports from all across Northeastern Ohio.  Our transport team includes a Respiratory Therapist, Physician (Neonatal Fellow), and an experienced Neaonatal Registered Nurse.  We use a state-of-the-art transport isolatte with a built-in ventilator and monitor systems.
