Orthopaedics
Pediatric Trauma and Reconstruction Center
The Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Service at MetroHealth provides a broad range of services for children.
The team is expert in the management of acute trauma, as well as the reconstruction and rehabilitation of injured children. In addition, we evaluate and treat tumors and congenital deformities such as clubfeet and hip dysplasia. In concert with the Comprehensive Care Clinic, we provide care for children with neuromuscular conditions, including cerebral palsy and myelodysplasia, as well as spinal deformities such as scoliosis and kyphosis. Developmental conditions such as in-toeing and out-toeing, bowed legs, slipped capital femoral epiphysis, and Blount's disease are also seen.
