MetroHealth Medical Center participates in the Spine Fellowship Program of Case Western University Hospital. Fellows rotate through MetroHealth for 4 months as part of their comprehensive year of specialty training in various spinal conditions. MetroHealth treats more spine and spinal cord injuries than any other institution in northeast Ohio. The fellow works closely with the Orthopaedic Spine Surgery attending physicians, Michael Eppig, MD and Timothy Moore, MD. They are responsible for the management of the spine trauma service as well as participating in busy elective degenerative and deformity practices.
