Dr. Kaelber Joins CareSource Board of Trustees
MetroHealth's Dr. David Kaelber has been appointed to CareSource's Board of Trustees.
Dr. Kaelber is the Chief Medical Informatics Officer of The MetroHealth System, Director of MetroHealth’s Center for Clinical Informatics Research and Education and the Director of MetroHealth’s Clinical Informatics Fellowship program.
CareSource is a non-profit, Ohio-based health plan. Its board provides visionary input to the company’s strategic plans for continued growth and quality in the core market of Ohio. Dr. Kaelber joins the CareSource Ohio Board at a time of unprecedented growth for the company due in large part to health care reform and the launch of CareSource Just4Me on the Health Insurance Marketplace.
“Dr. Kaelber will bring valuable practical and administrative health care experience to our Board and we look forward to his input,” Pam Morris, President and CEO, CareSource said.
Under Dr. Kaelber’s leadership, MetroHealth recently became one of the first public hospitals in the nation to achieve Health Information Management Systems Society’s Stage 7 ambulatory setting
