OBJECTIVE: To improve students' knowledge and skills in Obstetrics and Gynecology as an asset in their later career choices such as family practice.
OFFERED: All months. Begins on 1st weekday of the month
STUDENTS: Maximum: 1 visiting medical student for each rotation; dependent on availability
DESCRIPTION: This is an advanced elective and tutorial in obstetrics for students interested in considering career choices in this specialty, or who desire to improve their knowledge and skills as an asset in their later career choices such as Family Practice. The student will participate as a team member in all activities of the department of OB/GYN.

DUTIES: Students will be assigned to a preceptor for instruction and guidance. He/she will function at the level of post- graduate year one. Night-call on average of every fourth night, including weekends.
